Felicity 100

The Felicity hat has reached a Ravelry milestone, 100 projects! Who knows how many more are out there.

You can check them out here if you’re on Rav. Many of them are on Flickr as well. Maybe they need their own group?

Felicity Hat

I never expected the warm reception the pattern received and the lovely comments and notes that many of the knitters have sent. Thanks a bunch 🙂

  1. I wouldn’t be surprise if there were five times that many out there. I gave the link to the pattern to everyone at my LYS after I wore one of my two Felicities in to teach one day. It’s perfect. My mom has already “ordered” one from me… oh, and I’ll be making your neckwarmer soon, too…

  3. Hi there,

Congrats on 100. I left a comment for you on another post. It seems like I need to add more stiches to my Felicity. When I cast on 70 stiches at 5 stiches per inch it came out to 15″.

So I figure I need to cast on maybe 90 stitches? My question is, how do you figure out the decreases?

Also is the M1 a left leaning or right leaning? The M1 on the knittinghelp.com wasn’t helpful.

Thanks and congratulations on a great design. I mention before I’m anxious to make this for a friend undergoing Chemo. The hat will make her look very cool/

  4. Hi!

I just wanted to let you know how much I adore making this hat. I’ve made your hat six times now. Every time I finish one a sister, friend, sister-in-law sees it, and begs for one. Which, of course, I don’t mind at all. So, I guess what I’m trying to say is… Thanks for the pattern! It’s been a pleasure to knit.

  5. I have knit this hat a few times- and it is truly the best and cutest hat pattern I’ve knit! and I’ve knit quite a few hats in my 15yrs of knitting!
I constantly receive compliments on this one!
    Thank you!

  6. Love this hat, but I’m having the same problem as Sandy. 70 cast on stitches was wayyyy too small, so I’m wondering what I’m doing wrong! I’m using the yarn and needle size called for in the pattern. Just frogged the whole thing and will be trying again with 90 stitches cast on.
